Correct.

Not correct.

The Xnest-like thingie is called "nxagent". nxagent runs on the 
remote NX proxy, not the local NX client. nxagent *is* your 
pseudo-X11 server. In fact, the remote X11 client application 
does not see any difference to a "real" X11 server, when talking 
to nxagent; for the X11 client, nxagent is its X server.

Not yet. But wait and see. Wait for NX-3.0.

Maybe *currently* it is not yet the "generic remote control 
solution".

But in the long run NX is even *more* than a generic remote control 
solution. It's just that not everything that is in NX' genome is 
already fully developed and mature...
