[FreeNX-kNX] nxagent is eating all my memory

Hi all,

i have a small remote machine with FreeNX 0.4.4-3.1 and NX 1.5.0-16.1,
both provided by SuSE
(ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/X/NX). Normal connection
ist no problem, but sometimes i have to run Kylix at this machine. And
in 19 of 20 cases Kylix doesnt start, but nxagent is comsuming all
memory at this machine.

The machine has built in 384 MB Ram and a swap-partition with 512 MB.
Normally the machine (SuSE 9.0) is running in Runlevel 3 and needs
roundabout 50 MB Ram. After the connection with NX it needs from 120 MB
to 180 MB, depending on what Desktop-Environment is running. As i start
kylix, borland gets 25 MB and the nxagent-process is taking every second
some Megabyte, until it is 800 MB big.

Then nxagent is crashing, and /var/log/messages says:

Oct 19 15:13:57 linux kernel: __alloc_pages: 0-order allocation failed
(gfp=0x1d2/0)
Oct 19 15:14:25 linux kernel: VM: killing process bash
Oct 19 15:15:00 linux kernel: __alloc_pages: 0-order allocation failed
(gfp=0x1d2/0)
Oct 19 15:15:00 linux kernel: __alloc_pages: 0-order allocation failed
(gfp=0x1d2/0)
Oct 19 15:15:00 linux kernel: VM: killing process kdeinit
Oct 19 15:15:47 linux kernel: __alloc_pages: 0-order allocation failed
(gfp=0x1d2/0)
Oct 19 15:15:47 linux kernel: VM: killing process nxagent

The nxserver.log says nothing essential, even with loglevel 7. If i start
Kylix locally at this machine, it is running fine (more or less, its
Borland...). And sometime it runs even remotely. What can i do?

regards, Jens
