[FreeNX-kNX] server is not installed or NX remote access disabled

I have a rhel3.0 , 2.4.21-4.EL, server with
freenx-0.2.7-0.rh.1, nx-1.4.0-0.rh.3 on it, and nxclient-1.4.0-91 as the
client.
I copied /var/lib/nxserver/nxhome//.ssh/client.id_dsa.key off the server,
and into /usr/NX/share on the clientPC. Chmodded that to 644.
But when I try to log in (as regular user, I exist on the server, I haven't
done nxserver --useradd or anything, but tried that too) I get this message
from the client:
"server is not installed or NX remote access disabled"
 
What's up, did I make a mistake somewhere? I'm looking at tail -f
/var/log/secure on the server but nothing comes in when the client tries to
connect?

[root at kostnix .ssh]# service sshd status
sshd (pid 3141 2184) is opgestart...(this is good;-)
(openssh-server-3.6.1p2-18)
 
[root at kostnix root]# nxserver --status
NX> 100 NXSERVER - Version 1.4.0-02 OS_(GPL)
NX> 110 NX Server is running
NX> 999 Bye
