Hello,

I have a tiny bit of experience with gitlab. It seems to be the way forward for KDE and phabricator has its set of issues,

so I'm in favor of this.

Just one question about the transition: Do we carry over the revision and tasks from phabricator to gitlab at one point or

do we just slowly phase out phabricator by putting the new stuff on gitlab?

Best regards,

Betreff: Migration to Gitlab

Hello,

I would like to migrate Elisa to Gitlab if everybody agree on the move.

We would keep mostly the same workflow but review of branches is much easier
with gitlab and work in progress branches could be published in personal
clones or as work branches in the main repository.

I have the feeling that this makes collaboration easier.

I am using gitlab at work for 6 months and I understand now clearly the
differences with phabricator.

It seems that we could also get some pipelines that could automate some check
before a human review a merge request. I am using that at work (automatic
tests, code style, compilation) and this is really helpful.

What do you think ?

Best regards
