KDE 3.5 Beta 1 &quot;Kanzler&quot; Released

   The testing period for the next major KDE release has begun with the
release of KDE 3.5 Beta 1

Kanzler.  This will be the last major release in the KDE 3 series so
make sure it turns into the best one by downloading and testing today. 
The 3.5 Beta 1 information page [http://www.kde.org/info/3.5beta1.php]
gives the download link [http://download.kde.org/unstable/3.5-beta1/] as
well as an important warning on using Qt 3.3.5.  Packages are currently
available for Kubuntu [http://www.kubuntu.org/kde-35beta1.php] or you
can use Konstruct [http://developer.kde.org/build/konstruct/] to guide
you through the compile.
