<p><font face="Cascadia Code PL">For Solus we kept X11 as the
default session due to various missing ecosystem features such
as KVM software (input-leap now seems to fill this niche) and
because of a relatively poor Nvidia experience that has since
been massively improved with new driver releases and several
bugfixes to our driver packaging. </font></p>
<p><font face="Cascadia Code PL">We're in the middle of rolling out
Plasma 6.2 to our users and once that's settled we plan on
switching to the Wayland session by default (roughly the end of
November/early December).</font></p>
<p><font face="Cascadia Code PL">I would note though that many of
the issues that come across our tracker from Wayland users are
multi-GPU related, though I'm not sure that the situation on X11
is any better. It would be nice to see some focus there for the
6.3/6.4 cycles.</font></p>

Today I have an open-ended question for you. As you're aware,
Plasma 6.0 switched to Wayland by default. Those of you who
switched your distribution back to X11, what were the reasons? And
what changes would be sufficient for you to switch back?

The reason I'm asking is because Plasma and KWin devs are pretty
much all-in on Wayland now, and I'd like to know what still needs
improvement to get us 100% distro coverage.
