kwin has had a rerolled tar ahead of the plasma 5.19 release tomorrow, this

Since Plasma 5.19 depends on Qt 5.14 I wanted to give a quick heads up that 
there is a visual regression from 5.14.1 to 5.14.2 and 5.15. This causes 
unnecessary/nonfunctioning horizontal scrollbars to appear in vertical QML 
Listviews (and vertical scrollbars in horizontal views, but that's not that 
common in plasma).

If you're shipping Qt 5.14, you may want to consider either reverting this 
commit or including the pending fix since it may leave behind a bad first 
impression after upgrading/installation for your users.

I've made updated 5.19.0.1 tars for ksysguard and libksysguard.  This is
because a late cherry-pick to rename kstats caused breakage and our shiny
new plasma widgets did not work

Distros,

We're in the process of determining our dependencies for Plasma 5.20, our
release in about 4 months.

Ideally we would like to depend on Qt5.15, we can land some wayland fixes
that would be otherwise hard to  #ifdef as well as do some big code cleanup.

Obviously we're only comfortable doing that if we're not going to lock out
any potential users.

Are there any distros that are currently planning to ship Plasma 5.20 and
not have Qt5.15? If so, could you let us know.

For neon we're busy with moving to new base so are still on Qt 5.14 but
would expect to move to Qt 5.15 shortly and certainly in time for Plasma
5.20 testing and releases

that prevents the new header appearance from working when using the

API in plasma-frameworks to fix. As a result, we had to land the fix in 
Plasma 5.20.
