Ideally we would like to depend on Qt5.15, we can land some wayland fixes that would be otherwise hard to #ifdef as well as do some big code cleanup. Obviously we're only comfortable doing that if we're not going to lock out any potential users. Are there any distros that are currently planning to ship Plasma 5.20 and not have Qt5.15? Those of you who have just shipped Plasma 5.19 may want to consider cherry-picking https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/plasma-framework/-/commit/5be495b4d7bdeb6797d483980f3ca273e56b0a19 into your plasma-frameworks package. The commit fixes a visual glitch that prevents the new header appearance from working when using the Breeze Dark plasma theme. You may want to consider shipping a hotfix, since there are no Frameworks bugfix releases and the next release is in a month. I introduced a regression in Plasma 5.19 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=423093) that required adding new API in plasma-frameworks to fix. As a result, we had to land the fix in Plasma 5.20. If you would like to ship this fix for your users sooner than that, then you can cherry-pick the following commits, which should be easily backportable: plasma-framework: https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/plasma-framework/-/commit/7f9e189d87c040a952533713ff48d32872e0eadd plasma-nm: https://invent.kde.org/plasma/plasma-nm/commit/271332cfc19ede398854113d037abfb35503179f Sorry for the breakage.
