Hi Maik<br>
<br>
what do you mean by "langage" in "<span
style="white-space: pre-wrap"><i>more text to an existing language</i></span>"?
<div class="moz-cite-prefix"><br>
my use case is to add new information in the caption field when
new JPEG is generated from a BQM job<br>
Initialy I use this field to provide the description of the
picture, but after , when running a BQM job, I would like to
record some information relative to the job used , in order to
store the history of the JPEG versions when generated by BQM, and
then to be able to produce it again if required.<br>
I didn't find other option, the menu "version" only provide the
list of versions<br>
<br>
Inserting a line break would be fine<br>
<br>
Regards<br>
Frederic<br>

behind "don't overwrite."
Do you really want to add more text to an existing language?
Isn't that rather unusual?
We would then have to ensure that either a line break or a space is inserted
automatically.

<pre wrap="" class="moz-quote-pre">Hi Gilles
the video presented in the report is exactly what I'm facing. Report is
also saying problem is fixed in 8.2 but I have the same in 8.8.
My expectation is to get a new image from a BQM job , merging inital
text with the one added from the "assign captions"
Assuming the flag "cleanup and overwrite metada" is unset, did I miss
something ?

Hi all
I added the tool "assign captions" in one of my job in BQM. I set the
flag "captions" , add my text "text2" and ensure the flag "cleanup
and
overwrite metada" is unset.
I selected a picture that already contain a text "text1", then run
the job.
I was expecting to find in the caption : "Text1, Text2" but
unfortunately, only "text2" was present. seems "Text1" has been erased
did I miss something ?
using DK8.8.0 on Win11
regards
frederic
