appears. If yes, report the problem to Exiv2 project:</div>

<div>You can try to use Exiftool backend instead, even if
internally in digiKam we still use Exiv2 metadata containers
to work. If the problem is relevant to writing in file,
ExifTool will probably fix it. If the problem is relevant to
the Exiv2 containers (aka Exif in this case : makernotes are
hosted in Exif), well the dysfunction must be fixed in Exiv2.</div>
