                    if internally in digiKam we still use Exiv2 metadata
                    containers to work. If the problem is relevant to
                    writing in file, ExifTool will probably fix it. If
                    the problem is relevant to the Exiv2 containers (aka
                    Exif in this case : makernotes are hosted in Exif),
                    well the dysfunction must be fixed in Exiv2.</div>

                    have a new camera - Fujifilm X T30 III - and I found

                    editing and saving pictures all the Makernote
                    metadata are gone. <br>
                    Included is an example of a picture before and after
                    editing/saving. <br>
                    Such things did not occur with my previous camera
                    (Panasonic Lumix TZ100).<br>

                    Is this a feature or a bug? I really don't want to
                    lose those metadata <br>
