></blockquote><div dir="auto">When I swapped from Lightroom to digikam the biggest problem was redundant keyword tags kept appearing. Make sure that you change Settings | Metadata | Advanced settings to only import Lightroom Hierarchical tags. By default it reads tags from ACDSEE, MediaPro and several other sources. I also select digikam tags.</div><div dir="auto">Digikam can also read/write .xmp sidecar files. The default is for their file names to include the file type e.g. P10101.jpg.xmp.
