<p>This doc describes how to do something in a <i>very old</i>
macOS version. System Settings/Security and Privacy no longer
looks like that and there seems to be no way on that section to
authorize digiKam.</p>

<p>I found a way to allow DK to access network volumes under Files
and Folders. This also looks very different than in the doc. See
below. You might want to update the documentation.</p>

<p>Additionally: There is no apparent link to these absolutely
mandatory steps on the Downloads page. I think we should be kind
to potential new users and put in a link or text explaining this
directly on the Download page. Otherwise, the user experience of a
first time user is to download an app that "doesn't work".</p>
