
<!DOCTYPE html><html><head><title></title><style type="text/css">p.MsoNormal,p.MsoNoSpacing{margin:0}</style></head><body><div style="font-family:Arial;">Greetings,<br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;"><br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;">OS: Linux Mint 22<br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;">digiKam: 8.6.0</div><div style="font-family:Arial;"><br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;">I store my "photos as taken" in year/month/day hierarchical folders, with a folder for each day I took a photo(s). I also keep the best of those photos in albums by subject/theme that I am building for a permanent collection. <br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;"><br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;">I have just completed adding stars to photos from a major trip, according to my impression of each photo. I would now like to view them in a specific way. Using the Labels tab on the left side, I can easily view ALL photos in my collection with, for example, 2 stars, or with 5 stars.<br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;"><br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;">What I would like to do is something where I can view only photos with a range of stars, for example, those with 1,2, or 3 stars. Plus, I would only like to see the folders that I select. I see that the Image Quality Scan on the Labels tab does something similar, being able to select a sub-set of folders in the collection, but it appears that it can only set flags, but doesn't work with stars.</div><div style="font-family:Arial;"><br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;">Is there anything in digiKam that would allow me to work with selected folders and multiple stars? It would help with selecting photos for the permanent collection.</div><div style="font-family:Arial;"><br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;">Thank you for an outstanding application!<br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;"><br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;">Jay Rutherford<br></div><div style="font-family:Arial;"><br></div></body></html>
