<p>I’m not on the computer where digikam is installed, but I checked yesterday and "Read from sidecar files" is ticked and greyed.</p>
<p>If it’s ticked, Digikam should read metadata from xmp files automatically ? If it’s correct, it doesn’t work or I missed something.</p>
<p>I also have the "Sidecar names are compatible with commercial programs" option ticked because I used Lightroom and other programs in the past.</p>
<p>Maybe Digikam expects xmp files’ name to the like this : <code class="v1file v1docutils v1literal v1notranslate"><span class="v1pre">filename.ext.xmp ?</span></code></p>
