<html><head></head><body><div class="yahoo-style-wrap" style="font-family:Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:16px;"><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Hi,</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">When I edit the Geolocation for .mp4 files I can see in the Metadata "ExifTool" tab under "XMP" that it writes the new co-ordinates to "GPSLatitude" and "GPSLongitude", but there are several other GPS fields that still show the old co-ordinates.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">For example some of the .mp4s from my phone on the "XMP" tab, under "Dynamic Media" have a "Shot Location" with the old co-ordinates.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">And some of the .mp4s from another phone are missing this "Shot Location" field completely and I can't figure out how to add it. This field seems to be what is read by the Aves Gallery and other Android media gallery apps <br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I've looked in the manual and have ticked the box to write GPS to the metadata in the Behaviour tab in the Configure menu. I couldn't see a way to set which GPS fields for it to update (there's no GPS in the dropdown menu under Advanced on the Configure-Metadata tab).<br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">For background, I am a humble home user with no background in IT trying to organise my tens of thousands of family photos and share them with family members. I'm really grateful for DigiKam and what I've been able to do so far with adding tags.
