<p>I just read through the linked documentation. Maybe I missed it,
but I was not able to find an answer to the question of whether it
is safe to delete the .trash folder from outside of Digikam.</p>
<p>I <i>think</i> it is safe to do so, however, I have also
wondered about it and have not done it since I fear ending up with
some orphan references in the DK database, etc.</p>
<p>I would like clarification too.</p>
