<div dir="ltr">Per this email thread... a couple of years ago, you helped me to recover about 100,000 photos that I lost. While I was only able to get back the thumbnail, thereby losing a lot of resolution, at least I still can have the memory.<div>I'd like to take this a step further, but I don't know how to do this... If i look at this old database within Digikam I see all of the metadata, filename and tags and star ratings etc... even though the actual files are gone. Is it possible to extract all of this data with each photo on export? I recompiled the executable without the zlib compress and it work. I<br>
checkout some samples from my thumbnails database and the conversion<br>
to PNG work as expected. My blob samples are located also near the<br>
executable in git repository.<br>
