<p>Hello Maik,</p>
<p>I would like to revisit adding "borderless" color schemes to Digikam.
I am currently using Digikam-Git appimage v7.8.0:
Build date: 29.07.22 11:15 (target: RelWithDebInfo)
Revision: 5b85367a755ee2cbbc72b23a7be3f83d6a2412c6
Branch: qt5-maintenance<style type="text/css">p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }</style></p>
<p>Did you do some more research here? Anything I can do to help?</p>
<p>Maybe the only missing piece of the puzzle is the "Breeze" widget style which the Appimage does not have?</p>
<p>Regards
Jens</p>

I also have your color themes. In current KF5 versions you need an additional
color section, but I can easily add that. I would add them to digiKam, maybe
you can come up with a new interesting name for the color schemes. ((:-))

some time ago I created some themes in which the frame is the same
color as the background. If you are interested, you can find them in

<pre class="moz-quote-pre" wrap="">Regarding the border, I've had a look at the code and it seems that
the colour that is used is calculated at run time from the other
colours in the colour scheme file.
I may be wrong, but I think tweaking of specific elements (like the
border) isn't possible at the moment.

<pre class="moz-quote-pre" wrap="">Hmm, strange for me, the border on "Black Body" is much darker than
yours and
it looks good. Yes, your border is not nice. I don't have an
explanation for
it at the moment.

Remember that with the AppImage the Breeze Style is not and
probably never
will be available.

<pre class="moz-quote-pre" wrap="">Hello,
I have been using Digikam for years and I love it, currently
v7.3-appimage on KDE Neon Linux.
However, I'm using a dark desktop scheme (on KDE) and this
creates two
usability issues. One is preference, the other one is really
annoying.
1. I would like to customize (= remove) the frame color which is
around
each thumbnail. I think this makes for a much less cluttered
thumbnail
view.
2. I would like to customize the border around checkboxes with the
defaeult KDE Neon "Breeze Dark" design theme because when using a
dark
theme, the checkboxes e.g. next to tags are simply invisible.
Is this possible? If so, how?
I tried /tmp/.mount_digikamXXXXX/usr/share/digikam/colorschemes
but the
colors which my borders (thumbnail & checkbox) have appear
nowhere in
these files as a value.
Thank you for any help!
