Not on the topic but I'm just curious: why should MariaDB >= 10.6
not be used?
I'm running MariaDBÂ 10.6.5 on two Windows machines and had not
noticed any problems this far. Should I downgrade to version 10.5.16
anyway?
recreated it here on Windows 10, local MariaDB database 10.5.16
(MariaDB >= 10.6 should not be used with digiKam on Windows

the Documents directory. I can't reproduce any problem,
everything works as it should.
