I'm using DK old (but otherwise perfect, thank you very much for this
sw) 5.5.0 and to move around in the presentation according to the
speaker's needs: in the first slide I click the mouse to stop the timed
projection and then: left mouse = next, right mouse = previous, set
delays do not apply. For my purposes, this is sufficient. For other
requirements it would be better to use one of the dedicated
presentation sw.
Wouldn't you be better off using a dedicated tool for presentations?
For
digikam, slideshows and presentation are not a core activity, but would
demand
a serious extra time investment from the developers to get to what you
want.

Perhaps LibreOffice or Latex/Beamer (to stay with FOSS tools) are
already
capable to provide what you want?
Hello,

How can I change the album layout in Trash?
It seems that by default Trash is shown as some kind of list view. That is
fine for some things. But when you have lots and lots of stuff in the Trash
and quickly need to find a single image to recover, it would be nice to use
the standard Album layout where more image thumbnails are shown per screen.
How do I change the view/album layout of the Trash?

Hi and happy new year,

Well, the layout is hardcoded in trash.

We have a report to allow to change columns width :

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=385821

You can create a new one for the icon-view layout instead of a table-view.

Best
