Running the 7.4.0 AppImage from the command line, no arguments added. Database is (from the settings) SQLite, hosted locally on my /home. Not sure if this matters, but this was a upgrade, as I had an existing 6.4.0 install (the .deb for my OS). And I will try to run it again with debug. I do see that (It's still up and running) there are a number of messages saying there's an error with corrupted EXIF info. Maybe it's something to do with that??</div><div><br></div><div dir="ltr">Also, in sleuthing, I realized that the folder I was operating on had 5000+ images, not just a few hundred. But even so, I didn't experience vastly long waits with 6.4.0. It hasn't ever been lightning fast, but it was usable. This is really slow enough to be a hindrance when I'm trying to get lots of tagging done. I do have a few of the "do on startup" options selected, which means the initial load is slow, and I like it to find the new images on startup as well, so I'm used to waiting a few minutes while it chugs through newly discovered images. But for the tagging and "Apply" it shouldn't require 30 mins each time I add a tag. Really hope to find a way to speed this up.<br></div><br>If you can give me a few tips on where to find other answers, I'll get you the info! Thank you!<br><br>:-)<br></div></div><div><br></div>
