HOWEVER, when I squinted, in 7.4.0 there's a small, easy-to-miss-and-without-tooltip icon next to the "Delete" button in the Root directory settings Removable Drives section...and lo and behold...that was the magic button. When I clicked, it let me redirect the "images" folder to a new path. All my folder info (including the image thumbnails) was retained, and I saw my newly added images showing up again. Such a huge relief.</div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Thank you all for the help and suggestions. I'm in good shape now, and appreciate this amazing program and its developers.
