    <p>On the subject of the checkbox border, I've looked into this, and
      in my environment I found that the Qt Fusion widget style doesn't
      really work with dark colour schemes. It is hardcoded to pick a
      border colour that is a bit darker than the window colour in the
      colour scheme. <br>
    </p>
    <p>I found that switching to KDE's Breeze style gives much better
      results.</p>
    <p>This is Fusion style with darkroom colour scheme:</p>
