<p>I am referring to the border that is drawn around every image
with its metadata.<br>
I would like to turn it off or make the color customizable.<br>

<p>In my case, it is light grey:<br>

<p>And I am referring to the missing visibility of all checkboxes in
the UI, for example for tags. This happens with all dark color
schemes.<br>
Here, a border like the above would be important, but it doesn't

<p>With no (dark) color scheme these checkboxes are visible so it is
hard to hit them with the mouse.</p>

<p>For item 1, are you referring to the colour border that shows
when Color Labels are assigned to images?</p>
<p>If so, I agree. I use Color Labels a lot, and the borders are a
bit distracting sometimes. They're not very subtle.</p>
<p>I might have a try at adding a configure option to turn it off.<br>

I tried /tmp/.mount_digikamXXXXX/usr/share/digikam/colorschemes
but the colors which my borders (thumbnail & checkbox) have
appear nowhere in these files as a value. <br>
