I'm on Windows and I keep stumbling across Digikams way of switching <br>
immediately to preview, whenever I left-click on a photo to select it.<br>

I've found old threads elsewhere where other users complained about <br>
this, and they were told to change their Linux-System-Settings somewhere <br>
from one-click-opening to two-click-opening behaviour.<br>
<br>
I am on Windows and I haven never touched any of the click-settings <br>
here. I navigate through files/directories with double-clicks, so the <br>
system-setting is not relevant here, imho.<br>
<br>
Is there a way to change digikams configuration, so I don't fall into <br>
the preview mode whenever I single-click on a photo?<br>
