in fact I checked that in a folder without any sidecar
files, the sorting is correct (only jpg in the album)
but in a folder where I have RAW, sidecars files and jpg,
the sort is incorrect (even looking only at the jpg by using
filter : "only jpeg")
is that normal?
Hi Maik

I have an album with JPG plus some sidecar files (DOP and
XMP)

and I see pictures I have updated earlier today (but with
original date from this week-end) , displayed before
original files created this week-end

are you saying that the fact there is sidecars files could
impact the sort ?

thanks
Sorting is done by creation date. What for files, video,
RAW or JPEG? With
sidecar files?
Hi All

just wondering if I missed something, but when sorting
my album by date,
the sort is done on the modification date, while I
wanted to sort it by
creation date.

any suggestion ?

(I'm using 5.8.0)

thanks for your help
