Besides this, that would be very inconvenient if I would need to use the <a href="https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/extragear-graphics/digikam/image-editor.html">Image Editor</a> for each pic to save such changes. <br><br></li><li>So how I save added faces to the metadata of each pic. I added faces on two pics.</li><ol><li>the only tool what might be the right one ist the <a href="https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/extragear-graphics/digikam/using-bqm.html">Batch Queue Manager</a> as both show up there as single queues but I have no clue how to write the new metadata to the files.</li><li>In addition I found the <a href="https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/extragear-graphics/digikam/using-tagsmngr.html">Tag Manager</a> what can do Sync Export but it neither seems to have not affect on the file nor is somewhere explained what it is to supposed to do. </li><li>Finally there are still the <a href="https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/extragear-graphics/digikam/tool-maintenance.html">Maintenance Tool</a> but same problem as explained in 2.<br><br></li></ol><li>So what is the purpose of the Metadata Sidebar, if it doesn't show all information?<br>XnView does far better. It indicates on the thumbnail that face tag. XMP, IPTC and EXIF data is stored in that file.
