directions. See the procedure I followed below.

Procedure:

The executable has changed from:

lldb /opt/digikam/Applications/digiKam/digikam.app/Contents/MacOS/digikam
to:
lldb /opt/digikam/Applications/digiKam/digikam.app/Contents/MacOS/applet

When I run it, I get two lines and a hangup it seems -- 
after a while I had to type "exit" to stop:
