But, I’ve no idea why. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">All I had done differently was activate (double click) the app from within <span style="font-family: Menlo; font-size: 11px; background-color: rgb(146, 146, 146);" class="">/opt/digikam/Applications/digiKam/</span> rather than from cmd > Spacebar (Spotlight Search) as usual. When that worked I wanted to create an Alias to put into the Applications directory.
