I would like to know if I can set digikam so that the actual pictures<br>

an external drive while the database is kept on the internal drive. In this way<br>
I assume I could search for a picture on the data base even if the external<br>
drive were not connected (obviously I would need to connect the external drive<br>
to retrieve the actual picture). Or have a collection of usb drives<br>
for different albums.<br>
