Perhaps, there is a problem with your database (i don't know why...)<br>
<br>
Just to be sure, load images to Shofoto and apply Sharpen filter to<br>
see if dysfunction is here. Showfoto use same implementation than<br>
Image Editor but without DB dependency.<br>
