I do remember when Windows adopted the DLL concept, Dynamic Link
Library. Was blamed for unwanted pregnancies and the collapse
of the Soviet Union. So, I had a clue here about K libraries.<br>

But, unfortunately for me, for me it is not either Easy or Now!<br>

lib = library, common code to be used between applications
[in this case, applications that need to access scanners];
k = KDE project [was the one to implement it, also the
source of the k in Digikam]; and sane = Scanner Access Now
Easy, according to the XSane [GUI access] documentation.</div>
