<div dir="ltr"><div><div>I would like very much such a feature.It would be very handy.<br><br> If I'm not mistaken, I think Picasa (desktop version) has it too. <br>And Piwigo for managing the gallery online; with the addition that, using filters, you can make any automatic selection you can then add to the basket.<br>

<br></div>It would be wonderful with Digikam, as it already provides many ways to select different pictures around with filters or advanced search. With functions such as 'add to basket' / ' remove from basket' ... I'm already longing for it! :-)<br>

<br></div>This has reminded me of the single thing I miss from my ACDsee days under windows: the picture basket. It was (is?) a small panel under the thumbnails where I could drag&drop pictures creating thus a list. When I was done going through all pictures (which could belong to different albums), I applied whatever tag or modification to all at once. The great thing about it was that once in the basket, the selection wouldn't get away by accident. And I would only move to the basket as many images as I had on the screen at a given time, so no fear of losing anything when scrolling. <br>
