As a free host, Free has limitations that can prevent some procedures to work properly; it is the case for Piwigo, but also for many other web programs that requires settings unavailable by Free.<br>In the problem comes the from host, this has nothing to with Digikam and its Piwigo-Export plugin.<br>
<br>In fact, I have trouble to understand why some webmasters are so keen on free hosts; hosting and the associated services have a cost, and it doesn't seem very expensive to pay about 30 euros a year to get a multi-domain hosting service, with the first domain name included, and plenty of services, beginning with backup/restores, availability, support, plenty of storage space, mails redirection, new versions for PHP and MySQL, etc.<br>
