I wish there was a way within dK to delete the .jpg's and then make all<br>
the corresponding "orphan" raw go away as well.<br>
I am sure there is a very easy script that can be written for this<br>
(outside dK), just I am not that good and scripting.<br>

Inside digikam, you can flag files, for example with a red flag, and<br>
then use<br>
a filter to display only those files, hit ctrl + a, [shift +] del.<br>
<br>
Personally, I shoot only RAW, and use the album view for the highlevel<br>
screening as you call it, sometimes along with the lighttable.<br>
