I managed to move my digikam material from one computer to the
other, in Linux.<br>
<br>
What I did was as follows.<br>
1. copied digikamrc from machine 1 to machine 2;<br>
2. copied directory /pictures, including database file, from machine
1 to machine 2;<br>
3. ran digikam and on startup said; I'll tell you about database
later (or something like that);<br>
4. deleted in digikam settings old path to pictures and add a new
path, although they were the same;<br>
5. restarted digikam<br>

And it worked.<br>
