I don't remember having done anything specifically to this effect.<br>But you might want to check the Digikam settings for the metadata; in french, the first 2 lines concerns "Actions EXIF", and they are both selected.<br>

I have found that if I use the AutoRotate Using EXIF information option<br>
in digikam to rotate the image and then upload it is OK, however as<br>
downloaded from my camera they do not upload OK (but they display<br>
correctly in digikam).<br>
