Paul,

Instead to release it myself, i would to share how to setup a computer, to compile, and packaging it. Like this, i will not need to do it myself in the future. My time is mimited. using my computer under windows, is a waste of time for me... I'm working under linux (:=)))

If you is ready for this experience, i can guide you, by e-mail...

Let's me hear.

Gilles

2011/5/23 Paul Verizzo <paulv@paulv.net>
on my laptop (win7 MSVC2008), and all is fine. It run as expected, with
KDELibs bugs of course.
If somebody feel to be a digiKam contributor, not as developer, but as
windows packager, i can guide him in this task. I'm developer, not packager.
I cannot do all...
I think we well understand your position, Giles! And appreciative for what you've done. When you first posted how to compile in Windows I was really excited............then I started reading, ohmigod! I saw each step as yet another one that would fail for me, so I never tried it. I know my luck with computers.

Perhaps you'll release that 2.0?
