But how...? I just yesterday installed this one for the very
first time. I used the "command apt-get install digikam",
and this is the version that it found for me.<br>

Of course, this is the finnish version of the software. I
could very well install the english version, too, if I only
knew how...:/<br>

Yes, I see. I am using Ubuntu 10.04.<br>

But at the end of the day, I don't think this is the final reason
for not being able to store my photos on a CD/DVD. Or is it...?

mentioning about CD/DVD problems solved. <br>

I wouldn't like to change my Ubuntu to anything else, right now.
Especially if I am not sure that it will fix the problem.<br>
