until today I had two independent digikam installations. Now I want to
merge the two databases (digikam4.db) with all captions, ratings, etc. <br>

I couldn't find a simple way to do this. Do you have any suggestions?<br>

One alternative is let one DB write all metadata to files, then re-scan
the whole collection from other DB.<br>
