Thanks for the data point Vern,<br><br>I think I started out not having any problems - just have a poor memory of it. Something changed. Are you running stable or unstable, AMD or 686 or what?<br><br>Be nice to get Digikam working again. I took a look at the gentoo bugs list and see there is a bug with image rotation and possible image corruption too that I may be suffering from as I can't rotate images presently either.<br>

Just an FYI, I have run Digikam 1.1 on KDE 4.4 (Gentoo Linux), since the day 4.4 was available and have not had any problems at all.<br>
