I have the same problem with ReiserFS. With a collection of about 8700<br>
photos first startup takes about 1 min 20 sec, subsequent startups<br>
about 5 sec.</blockquote><div><br>I am afraid we are talking about something different. It takes few minutes every time for me, not first time.<br>To start Digikam in few seconds I need to remove all collections from it and add single one with a 300 photos or so.<br>
