<div dir="ltr">I installed digikam from the Add/Remove software feature of the advanced desktop menu. I just did a search and even manually checked the list of packages and libexiv2 is not listed. <br><br>When installing the digiKam package I didn't install libkipi-devel, digikam-devel or digiKam-doc, because I assumed they were for developers. Could libexiv2 be in one of those?<br>

</div>OK, this corresponds to your originial error message.<br>
It seems that when installing digikam, libkexiv2 was installed<br>
(as also the output of ldd suggests),<br>
but somehow the dependency of libkexiv2 on libexiv2<br>
was not taken into account.<br>
Could you try to install libexiv2 in the same way you<br>
installed digikam?<br>
