HDD to the same system. Then, from digiKam you invoke from the Import
menu 'Add Folder...' and you navigate to the old HDD photos folder.
DigiKam will import all those images into the new location and read the
metadata into the database.</p>

I tried that, but it copies all the images to my new HDD, I don't want
that. The old HDD is always mounted so i'd like the old photos to stay
there and configure digiKam to use them from there. <br>

When I set Album Library Path path to one of the old folders it imports
the info them correctly, without copying them anywhere, but then how do
I make all the new photos download on the new HDD? Is there a way to
have multiple Album Library Paths with one main? <br>

I had the same problem on fedora8 and I managed to solve it but now I
can't remember how....<br>
