Martin, <br><br>This subject have been already discuted in the pass in this room. <br><br>The only way to be able to import XML content generated by old digiKam 0.6 is to update progressivly to 0.7 release, and later 0.9<br>

<br>In the pass, when digiKam been hosted to <a href="http://sourceforge.net">sourceforge.net</a> (repository + mailing list), i remember a script written by Renchi Raju to process this job... but i cannot re-found it.<br>

The database schema used with current release is available here : <a href="http://www.digikam.org/?q=docs">http://www.digikam.org/?q=docs</a> If you is a script guru, perhaps you can make a little tool for that...

Hello,<br><br>long time ago I used an older version of Digikam, probably 0.6 but I'm<br>not sure (as part of SUSE 9.1). This version stored comment texts for<br>images in one XML file per folder.<br><br>Now I updated to open SUSE 

10.3 which contains Digikam 0.9.2.<br>All my old albums/photos were converted to the new version. But no<br>comment texts of the photos are now known in the system!<br>As far as I understood until now all this data are stored within an
