<br><br>In addition to various bug-fixes and improvements,<br>several new features have been added.<br>Some important improvements/changes are:<br><br>- a light-table to quickly compare similar images side by side<br>- Thumbnail size in the album view can be adjusted continuously

<br>- Image Editor: reorganized menu structure<br>- Image Editor: new pan tool<br>- Image Editor: new Sharpness Editor (replacing Unsharp Mask, Refocus,<br>  Sharpen)<br>- DigikamImagePlugins have been merged into digiKam

<br>- Image Plugins: completely rewritten Red Eyes Correction<br>- Image Plugins: Color Effects pack: solarize, velvia (new!), neon, edge<br>- Image Plugins: improved Black & White converter<br>- Image Plugins : Speed improvements for Restoration, Inpainting and

importing, organizing, and searching digital photos a "snap".

<br><br>The photos can be organized in albums which can be sorted<br>chronologically, by directory layout or by custom collections.<br><br>An easy to use interface is provided that enables you to connect to your<br>camera and preview, download and/or delete your images. digiKam also

<br>includes<br>an image editor for image corrections and manipulations which can be<br>extended by plugins.<br><br>digiKam supports all camera RAW file formats, 16 bits color depth,<br>Exif/Makernote/IPTC/GPS metadata, Color management,
