Red Eye Correction is part of the digikamimage core plugin. It was

introduced with the digikam 0.7.x series. So it is not available for

the 0.6.x series. If you like to have it, you'll have to upgrade to a

more actual version of digikam.<br>

I don't know if 0.6.2 has that plugin.  I know .8 does, and .7.4 did. 

.6.2 is WAY behind version wise (I started with .7ish quite a few months

ago).
