But was denied because the target date format is wrong. This is a new
excuse, but may be progress in gaining write privileges to my 1.8T /home
on a raid10.

Here also is the terminal log of the attempt to download from my Canon
SX420 IS:

DigiKam 8.2.0

Now, I have discovered a directory containing some pix I saved from
email from my deceased wifes family, taken according to the data in the
pix files, in 2005, but somehow have become date nearly 50 years in the
future according to digiKam. But debian bookworm, uptodate a/o
yesterday, only sees legitimate dates.

How do reassign legitimate dates to those Albuns I can see nothing wrong
with?
Cheers, Gene Heskett.
