[digiKam-users] Selecting an explicit set of files

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to select files by pasting/loading a set of file names? These may be in different albums/folders.

My underlying problem is that "update database from image metadata" takes really long for the whole collection, and I can help it out by telling it which images to update. But I haven't found a way to pass in that list of files to digikam.
