Lazy sync in 5.6.0

I just checked 5.5.0 installation and it works similar to what I have
described. digiKam still processing something after I applied tags.
Messages in the terminal look similar to that (for each file):
digikam.dimg:
"/mnt/data/FamilyPictures/2016/2016-09/20160923/20160923_194828.jpg"  :
JPEG file identified
digikam.database: Finishing took 289 ms
digikam.database: Scanning took 1564 ms
digikam.database: Finishing took 493 ms
digikam.database: Scanning took 1689 ms
digikam.database: Finishing took 185 ms

Is this a normal behavior? I thought Lazy Synchronization does not write
anything until user clicked on an icon in the status bar.
